{Oregon Friends}

A couple days after arriving in Utah Naomi (far left) came to visit. Carly moved to Utah about a year and a half ago so it was fun to have a few of us together! It was a great GNO.
 The next morning I hosted a brunch with old Oregon friends. Jena far left moved from OR about 2 years ago and has settled close by in Lehi now. Lisa, far right, came to UT for Spring Break. It was so fun to host in my new kitchen with old friends!
 Tonight, a week later, we had a family dinner, adding in the Rowe family. Michelle made a visit from Boise and we were on her list (they moved a year ago April).
Chaney and Maisey before church. Maisey took advantage of her old Oregon friend and had a sleepover 1 week after getting here.

Ryley also enjoyed having Eli and Lilly sleepover too, although they are a little young... Eli said he's not ready for sleepovers and Ryley ended up in our bed kicking Chad all night.

We had some fun at the museum of Ancient Life (AKA Dinosauer museum) with the Rowes while they were here.

It was so fun to see old friends. We are SO excited to see other Oregon visitors next week!
What will we do after that????? Well, besides starting internship and working hard, we will beg for more visitors!

Please come VISIT! We will treat you right!!!
Happy Easter

{Visual Tour}

I'm pretty much an open book. I will say however, it's odd putting pictures online of our home, all at once anyway but we want to share our new dwelling with all those who we welcome into our home.

Upstairs:
Our Room
 *For my birthday I hope to find, and then buy big crystal lamps for our bedside. Our ceilings are vaulted and the room is very roomy.

 Our bathroom

 Office/Craft Room (aka tiny room)
 Ryley's bathroom

 Ryley's Room

Downstairs:
Maisey's room: Nontraditional. The rooms are small and so we gave her the main basement area so she would have room to dance.

 Maisey's bathroom
 Zebra inspired bathroom to match her zebra frame from her best friend.
 The house has lots of storage closets.
 The nook under the stairs is... An American Girl hideaway.

Guestroom (Still bed shopping, but the new matress is ready for occupacy).

We have lots of storage, although we are still mourning the loss of our garage (not available with these townhomes).

Now please come visit! Our doors are always open!

{Our Journey}

We picked up the U-Haul on Wed. 3/13. I drove the big truck 4 miles home and although it was smooth, we were so grateful my father in-law drove it all the way to Utah.
After loading Wed. we got to Hood River about 10 PM.
The next morning we drove to Boise. It was a long day, one I dreaded for months with my car sickness, but it wasn't bad at all (not that I want to do it again or anything real soon)!

We had to leave many things behind! SUCH A BUMMER! Every time I go to the store our bill reflects that we are still recovering.

 The kids were so good making the trek- thank you technology!
We stopped in Idaho for the night and our friends met us for swimming.
 Ry and one of his best buds, Eli.
 Lilly, Michelle, and I
Recouping and mapping out the next day. Oma and Opa were so nice to get us settled in our new home and state.

 Making rounds and getting to know the city (The Sweet Tooth Fairy).

The weather is BEAUTIFUL and bizarre. One day it snows, the next day it is HOT. It snowed two days last week. Whenever we leave our house we get to stare at these mountains. They look so close, as if you could reach up and touch them.
